... sa christian symbolism, [the light, fish, and dove] shown in some lumii-ish form of traditional japanese painting.
eeep.. going up on out guestroom wall, one picture but in three separate frames, kinda like shown. ..to fit in with the whole japanese theme of the room - the symbols were my mum's idea .. this was sort of a thing she's been bugging me to do for the past forever.. things kept getting in the way of it being finished, though. T.T
..those waves were the hugest pain imaginable. i'll be happy if i never have to draw another onna them damned things again xD;
mrr. thank you for looking. ^^
Fabulous work on this. It's quite beautiful, I must say. I really admire how you captured the traditional Japanese style and inserted some Christian symbolism with it. That takes some talent, I'm sure. The mountains and sun with its luminesence looks lovely along with that sky. The colour choices work so well too. Finally, the water may have been a pain, but you did a great job on it. Fabulous work overall ^_^
Oh lord, Lumii...so beautiful! Aiya, you've prolly heard me say that too many times...but it iss! Never seen the trinity like that before xD; wish I have before though [does this make sense???!!!] but iss just. lovely.
Wonderful job, Lumii!! It reminds me of a Hokusai (sp????) that Japanese artist dude who did lotsa waves...but anyway, I really like this picture...and...am...very...tempted...to ......it...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Merry Christmas to you out there but don't forget: we are only guests here and so...listen to my favourite words... and look at all these wonderful pieces of art
